It encodes isoform 2, which has a shorter and distinct C-terminus, compared to isoform 1. Variant 2 has an in-frame upstream AUG with a strong Kozak signal but the CDS was annotated at the downstream AUG because the uAUG is only four nucleotides from the predicted transcription start site.
